I often visit the New Inn at Shardlow with my husband, so I chose to take a friend here for lunch. We didn't book and it was really busy (a Thursday lunchtime). As we were waiting at the bar to ask about a table, one of the ladies came to us and asked how many of us there were; she then proceeded to find us a table brilliant. We both ordered salad bowls and they were delicious, as always. We will keep coming here for the friendly and efficient service, and great food.

What a wonderful find in the beautiful village of Shardlow. I was lucky enough to try one of Faye’s lasagna and it really didn’t disappoint. Smaller plates are available and are perfect . All the bar staff are really friendly and the locals are just lovely too. Dogs are welcome and there’s plenty of outdoor seating. I’ll be back for more Lasagna
