They know that we are stuck with them as the only newspaper to advertise in, so their service does not matter. We placed a pricey ad last week and because the employee went home early and didn't finish her work (her words), our ad didn't run so we had to cancel the garage sale. AND to top it off, we were billed anyway immediately for an ad that did not run. AND now we have to wait 2 weeks for a refund to process. Check and double check and triple check if you waste your time advertising with them.

St. Joseph News Press invited our school for a tour of their facility so that our students could learn about careers in their field. Students were able to try out a green-screen application, sit at a desk before cameras, and hear first-hand experiences of the staff working at News-Press. It was a wonderful trip and the students had a lot of fun while learning.

This place writes the most reckless and irresponsible articles and is quite possibly the worst newspaper in Missouri. This paper is substandard.
