Nippon Sushi - Reservar uma mesa

I took my daughter here for lunch. We got there just as they opened. We waited a few minutes for the hostess to acknowledge and to seat us. There was only 1 other patron there. It took a long time to get menus and to put our drink order in. Our sushi entrée was put in and it came out within 10 minutes. It took about 20 minutes to get our check so we could pay and leave. But that's only because I had to go interrupt the conversation our waitress was having with the hostess. The other patron didn't seem to have the same wait time but, he was seated at the counter. The food is amazing and sushi comes out fresh and quick. I just didn't like to chase our waitress down to pay her.

I just moved back to Pensacola and can't BELIEVE I never left a review of Nippon when I lived here. I have always found the service, sushi, and ambiance to be wonderful. Far and beyond what you would expect from a mall sushi spot. Before I moved I came here once a week AT LEAST, and now that I'm back I will be returning to that ritual. The husband and wife who own the place are so sweet, and remembered my husband and I even after 5 years of being in South Florida! The sushi is as good as I remembered, and since their remodel the place looks BEAUTIFUL! I have been deprived of good sushi for so long and am thrilled to have Nippon back in my life.

Service was slow, food tasted very bland. From actually being in Japan and tasting authentic Japanese food, this is far from real Japanese food. Ramen had zero flavor, poke tasted like a bowl of teriyaki sauce. Once we finally got our food, we weren’t checked on the rest of our visit. My drink was empty the entire time I ate my food. Wouldn’t recommend.

We really love getting osushi from this place. Best spot in the mall, hands down. However, the four times weve gone the waiting staff typically havent come back to ask how is everything? , Whether its busy or empty.The ramen is very tasty and the bento boxes have a lot of food!
