Nisi Greek Taverna

This is my second dining experience here and was happy to say that the service is still on point. The cuisine is Fresh , creative ,and flavorful. Some of the menu items are made in house and are noted in the description of the food. I do wish very much that the Ouzo marinated herb crusted Octopus with squid ink tarama with citrus sauce be put back on menu. Such a unique twist excellent flavor profile. It’s better than the run of the mill Octopus in olive oil vinegar you get on other Greek restaurant menus. The dining room is lively and decorated with authentic items from the NISI area of Greece. This is a must dine venue !

The food is consistently delicious. Service with Dimitri was friendly efficient. Have dined here 3 times within the past year. Usually we order a selection of sharables, but this time tried the Paidakia baby lamb chops). Great flavor and perfectly cooked med-rare temp. The menu consists of Modern Greek with Traditional dishes. It is a NW Indiana gem .

Appetizers, small plates and drinks are excellent. Skewer entrees were also really good. Be aware that gyro is not what you typically expect.
