Nonna Gina's Prepared Foods Gelateria

two days ago, I was there for the first time, and I hope these people do well. they seem like a very nice sincere group of people. there is obviously a need for places that sell prepared meals especially in the Branford/Guilford area. the Italian ice creams (gelato) in the load were so tempting. I can see myself again in the summertime trying all the aromen. unfortunately I was disappointed by the 2 dinners I bought: sausage and pepper the sausage was extremely dry. I found it uncomfortable to eat. Chicken ascolano this evening meal certainly looks good. the vinegar taste from the artichoke hearts was distracting and exaggerated. I've been here 3 times now with family and friends. We've tried several of the Panini's as well as their Gelato and this is definitely one of those places where everything we've had has been so good! I am a personal fan of the Eggplant Caprese. This has become one of our favorite spots for lunch and I'm eager to try some of their prepared foods. Not only is the food top notch, but it's really a nice atmosphere inside and the people are great! Definitely a place worth checking out!

Absolutely amazing Italian Cuisine to go!! If you enjoy real and fresh ingredients and don’t always have time to prepare your own meals, I highly recommend! This is the definition of a great family business! Great food prepared by great people who are extremely welcoming friendly and family oriented!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about my experience here. Staff is helpful and friendly. The eggplant caprese panini is my new favorite comfort food. Can't wait to come back!
