Northlake Thai Cuisine

I'm from Northern Virginia, down in Tucker visiting my mom and we just had an amazing dinner at Northlake Thai. The food was delicious, we both started off with the seafood bisque and the crab spring rolls. The bisque was not what I was expecting, but it was rich, flavorful, and didn't get cold as they served it over a candle. The spring rolls were very tasty as well. My mom ordered the crispy coconut prawns and I had the jumbo prawns in galanga sauce. The portions were good and the food was amazing. If you're a local, do yourself a favor and don't just order take-out, stop in and enjoy the details of this gem.

So let's talk about food first. The food was amazing! I now consider it as one of my new favorite Thai places. I had the pad Thai and my wife had the mango chicken. Everything was very well prepared. Now evil. The atmosphere inside is like a very chic restaurant in upscale style, but the place is in a kind of sketchy shopping lane. We went in with a t-shirt and shorts and felt very out of place. The employees were obviously upset about that. Absolutely no indication of what kind of place it should be.

What a wonderful dinner! Our first time and we're back. Delicious coconut soup should not be missed. Chicken pillow thai was excellent and crispy shrimps in red curry sauce delighted my wife very much. Just enough spice. Thai tea was a good way to finish our meal. We see why this facility was their 40 years. Go and enjoy!

A very nice surprise in a strip-ball. Beautiful decor, white table cloth. The staff is warm and attentive. Very delicious chicken chocolate soup. A complementary appetizer of a spring roll a pig donation was delicious. The duck breast with eggplants was good. The other entree chicken with mango was also excellent

I thought the food and the service were great! I arrived at 6:00 and sat right away. The free appetizer was a nice treat. I ordered the Panang Curry with chicken and washed them with a Thai beer.
