I tracked the food truck last year and the amazing people behind it. Karen, Eric and Stefan are not your typical restaurant owners. They appreciate their employees and encourage them to pursue their culinary dreams. I use their kitchen to create my vegan and GF desserts and serve them there at the opening of restaurants. If you eat in Nosh Pit, support an amazing family and movement! Try the Kaz, the best vegan burger in Michigan!

I’ve been a fan of the Nosh Pit’s food truck for awhile and was thrilled when they opened a restaurant in Hamtramck. Tonight I checked it out and it is one of my new favorite restaurants. I adore the neighborhood, and the inside of the restaurant is so cozy; it feels like you’re eating at a friend’s house. The food was spectacular. I can’t wait to eat there again soon.

I am a meat eater usually, but I ordered the Larry thought it was a beef ruben sandwich (I was in the Detroit cocktail classic and a little sharp at this point lol). Only when I was halfway through eating this amazing sandwich that I realized that the pinned beef actually pickled vegetables!!! Soooo good. I need another one.

I love meat, but wanted to try something new and this place makes amazing food!! I had the Denis lentil Burger and it was delicious!! I couldn't even say it wasn't meat. I would recommend this place to any vegan or not!

Delicious flavor combinations make a very satisfying meal also for non-vegetarians like me! No cross-contamination problems with their gluten-free offers. I'll hunt down when I can.
