Nuts And Candy - Reservar uma mesa

This is a classic DQ and reminds me of the one I grew up with in Wilmette. The staff is all young local kids that do a great job. The veterans support the newbies and it's just a great atmosphere. I do wish they were open year round but it just makes the summer that much better! They are very open to making things your way (my pregnant wife loved to have her add ons and make her twists to each order and they obliged. Just a few more spots to eat outside would make this place perfect. What a great local business!

This is the best Dairy Queen in the area. Just a FYI: they close in the winter and usually open around May. It has a family-run type feel to it. It 's a small shop but the quality is always great and the staff is friendly (to me it 's a notch above other Dairy Queen 's in the area). It 's usually somewhat busy, a testament to the quality. I don 't think they serve the non-ice cream items at this location (like chicken and hot dogs), which is another plus for me, just focus on the ice cream.

I don't know what happened to this Dairy Queen but after the previous owner sold it, it has been nothing but downhill. The kids that work there are not trained properly. They have no idea how to make blizzards correctly they leave out ingredients they don't put enough fillings in. They don't add the syrup to ask for I drive past this Dairy Queen to get to the Dairy Queen in Wood Dale because of how bad this Dairy Queen is.

If you want customer service that is colder than the ice cream, be sure to stop in. They have a teen girl with dark hair (in 2 braids when I stopped by) that brings new meaning to the term frigid ****. Sorry to be blunt, but she was just a nasty human being. To be that rude so young...it 's sad. She should NEVER work customer service. I will not be back.

They have great service and a great product. I just moved nearby and they are always busy. The owner is very kind. Highly recommend.
