I grew up in queens, ny. every Sunday, after the church, I visited the bagellades on union turnpike and 259. Street and get a dozen bagels to bring the family home. my Lil-Brudel and I would eat wobble and the rest of the family would have easy/sesam/etc. the memory of the child will last a life and the aroma and taste of this wobbly bagels remain. inconsistent in these days was the bevel, which sometimes the bagels had a sparing cover; sometimes they were generously covered with wobbles. the more swirling, the better is the taste of my honest opinion. that brings us to N.Y bagel deli. This is a hidden gem for breakfast sandwiches. The restaurant is rather large and they have a large selection of baked goods and bagels. They also have pizza. We stopped here for breakfast sandwiches before going to the farmers market. We got 2 bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches, a blueberry bagel with cream cheese, 2 hashbrowns, 1 small coffee and 1 iced vanilla latte for $30. Everything was average. Bagels were good though. Appreciate a fresh bagel. The lady behind the counter didn't seem friendly, felt like I was wasting her time. However, the lady who brought me my food was a peach.

I enjoy the bagels here, they are a clear reminder of the northeast. the pizza is also delicious, maybe a bit more salt. not a pleasant first appeal, if this is the given first impression, the staff needs a customer service or a new staff. it will be a shame to lose customers over a bad first impression.

bagels are good. looks fresh. good variety. I will go home and freeze. service can be good or slow. they've baked. many seats inside and outside. I had no cookies.
