Oasis Cuban Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Not sure why it took so long to visit this place. The cuisine was excellent. Authentic Cuban food hasn't been this good since tailgate parties in South Florida in the 80's. Upon arrival we were greeted by the happy hour marquis, and the sangria is well worth it. We tried the croquette and plantain chip appetizers. You won't find better! They should bag the chips and sell them at the register. If you're looking for real chicken soup, look no further. There was no room in the bowl for broth due to all the chicken and veggies. My dining partner had the ribeye, which was marinated and so tender it could be cut with a fork. I had the chicken and grilled onions, which was also a savory treat. Good...

I heard about this cuban place in Longwood the had a harpist at dinner Saturday nights. I ordered roast pork, black beans, rice, medeiros and choice of soup or salad. What's the soup? Best chicken soup you'll ever have. It was. Shredded chicken a few noodles, vegies and great broth. Meat in every spoonful. Small but wonderful portion. Pork was tender and fell apart, mixing with rice and beans. Great meal, but having fresh bread like most cuban places would be great. Maybe I can order that extra next time The harpest didn't disappoint. South American vib to his music. I'll be back.

The food is good and varied the staff is friendly and helpful, sometimes there are artists playing live which makes the experience much more enjoyable. You can get several nice drinks and the portions are very generous, there is ample space to park. Since this place is gettingt a lot of traction maybe it is a good idea to make a reservation prior to your visit just to be sure you'll have where to sit.

Omg Love this place... went here around fathers day just looking for a good meal and boy did i find it... the roast pork was delicious... seasonded to perfection and everything was fresh and hot ! and i even had food for the next day and talk about price.. price just right ! Anytime im in Longwood this is my spot !
