I and my family visited this place last year only for drinks and inexplicable came back for more of the same pants down experience this year, I put it on amnesia or a bang on the head. the ambiente is very much can't be...arsed, but if I have to serve, then I will hang up, it's my break in 20 minutes I'll let someone else do. for the context this restaurant takes some impressive properties on the seafront. the prices for drinks limit at extortion I understand the “lake view tax” but go over the street directly to the beach and sit in the beach bar pay less for a much better view, better quality and friendly staff. not ate here could be the best seafood in lacanau ocean for anything I know, b...

This place in the context of Lacanau is mid priced and the food is tasty and reflects the local predominance of see food. Prawns and crab were really good; chef’s tapas was quite good but did not have everything that it was listed on the menu...and the “chef’s” surprise seemed to be an extra large helping of ham. Salad was a little gritty. Having said that, my family and I enjoyed the meal and did go back for a second visit which is more than could be said for a number of pricier restaurants we tried in Lacanau Ocean. They do seem to struggle (based on walking past rather than our direct experience) at peak times exhibited by dirty plates building up on tables and people grumbling about time...

This was probably the worst dining experience we have ever had. It was 30 minutes before we had our drinks and another 30 minutes before our food order was taken. The food arrived in dribs and drabs. Cold, not what we'd ordered and we had...to send 2 dishes back. The quality of food would probably have been quite good if the restaurant had been better organised and had more staff. I complained vociferously. They didn't like it and kicked us out, much to the embarrassment of my teenagers! That's a first for me. I'd recommend passing this one by if it looks busy. wow called for a drink, slow and service without smile! then 24€ for 2 koks, a pint a glass wine. so many other nice bars with happy service and half price!

Good food, service and price would recommend : very generous serving of mussels and my tapas was just perfect for lunch.
