Sweet goodness everything was delicious. The fried chicken, the crab rice the pho. The lime margarita taste like one of those green popsicles from childhood with a good amount of tequila. The lunch special fried chicken came out as one single piece of chicken. At first we were upset but that first bite is magical. Makes you savor it and eat it slowly. My pho was was DELICIOUS. A savory broth season to perfection with a delectable beef tender pork. Its a cute little restaurant with polite, attentive courteous servers eager to assist you. The service was by far the best part. 11/10
I used to love this restaurant but unfortunately their food quality and portions have decreased tremendously. They only give you 3 pieces of meat which tasted old and not fresh whatsoever.I was not full after eating an entire bowl of pho. Pho has to be comforting and filling. I’m sorry but their pho isn’t that great anymore. Their broth was extremely salty as well.I am sorry but I will not coming back here ever again.
As someone who comes to town a couple times a year on business, I’m always looking for good places to eat. Coming from Texas, authentic pho is hard to come by, and this place did not disappoint. From the lively atmosphere, superb location, friendly staff, and EXCELLENT food, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my time and experience at OBAO in Midtown. I look forward to future visits!
Excellent cocktail selections! Nice little street patio as well, fun overall atmosphere. A great spot for lunch, dinner, or just drinks and apps!Edit it was SO GOOD we came back a second time on our trip. Seriously such a gem in the city and a must try for a delicious meal. Service was excellent on both trips as well.
