Ocean One Grille - Reservar uma mesa

We were driving by Dania Pointe one day with my sister-in-law who she mentioned that they had $4.99 lunches (as of July, the price has gone up to $5.99). So we found ourselves in the area around lunchtime and decided to try this. We were thinking that for $4.99, the portions wouldn't be that big. We were wrong. The portions were a decent amount where we had leftovers to take home. We started with the Crispy Calamari. Some of the calamari rings were chewy and could have been crispier but they were good. The service was satisfactory, but the food was rather unimpressive, and the floors were not clean. I visited for lunch with friends at 4:30 pm, and I was disappointed to find the bathrooms in a poor state: one of the two stalls had no soap and no toilet paper. The hostess appeared unkempt, and the servers also looked disheveled. I wouldn’t choose to return here, nor would I recommend it to others.

It seems there has been a significant change here, possibly with new owners or chefs, and definitely with the staff. This restaurant was once excellent, but now it's almost unpleasant. The young staff members seemed indifferent to service, which was disappointing. The food appeared and tasted like it was canned and just reheated from the previous day. I won’t be coming back.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. On Saturday night, last call was at 10:30, which was quite early. They also couldn’t split the bills, which was frustrating. When I first arrived, they mentioned they closed at 9 o'clock. The drinks were well-made, but the staff was quite rude. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Omg... Miguel has to be the best!! Very attentive to all we wanted and great service thanks to him we r still here and the only reason we will be back.
