One of my fav spots in downtown Pomona! This place is like the mullet of businesses, with business on top and a party below. Cute coffee shop upstairs and down, a pub you can play pool and even sing karaoke. Staff is friendly, security is excellent opting to have doormen like, Chris, who know how to greet patrons with a smile and not cold intimidation like other places I've been to that make you feel uncomfortable as a first experience, knowing that a bar understands deescalate over intimidate makes me feel safe, making this one of my favs
This place is underground. I repeat this place is literally underground. I mistakenly went to the street level side to this establishment and they let me know they were not open yet and that downstairs was open. I then made my way down to find this low lit, basement lookin, Cask of Amontillado-esk spot. Right off the bat the bar tender welcomes me and serves me an ice cold blonde, answering my questions and I catch the Dodger game. Sound like your type of place? Definitely recommend!
This place is not pretty, but they have a good beer selection on tap, and good food. It is in an underground basement with no windows. Decor is sparse to non-existent, but at least it is dim. They have a TouchTunes juke box, so music varies according to clientele. The bartender filled my order promptly with a smile. Not impressive for a date, but fine for a group who can self-entertain.
