Off The Hook Fish Cafe

The cafe is bright & it was packed! Luckily we booked, there was 6 of us! I had the Pan Fried Barramundi which just melted in your mouth! My friend had the Whole Fish with the coconut & chilli sauce. The sauce was amazing! I had a small mouthful. It wasn't too hot & it was so tasty! The wait staff were polite & explained the menu beautifully! It was my first time there & it won't be my last!

I found off the hook on online and loved the menu for my husband's birthday. We decided to walk from Long reef lookout to have lunch on Saturday afternoon to find a note on the door that the restaurant was CLOSED FOR 1.5 MONTHS!We would have enjoyed trying your restaurant. Poor form not putting a notification for your customers on your website.

Phoned to book a table and left a message at 4pm. Left another at 5pm. Didn't hear back, even though the website says they are open from "11am til late". Called 5 more times between 5:30 and 6:30pm, then gave up.

Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, easy to park, Council carpark near by BUT ABOVE ALL THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. I was greatly surprised how nice the fish pie was we both ordered.

I've been here many times and look forward to each time they roll out a new special it is always exquisite! I regularly enjoy a fish burger for lunch.
