Oid Fields Tavern Barbecue

I was disappointed with my dinner last night (September 3). The wings were undercooked, the brisket was overcooked and dry, and the roasted chicken on the salad was also undercooked. While the service was good, it felt as though the person in the kitchen was not their usual cook, which made a significant difference in the meal. Perhaps they were relying too much on their air fryer for dishes that typically aren't prepared that way. Unfortunately, I probably won't return, which is a shame because I believe this isn’t reflective of their usual quality. Did they send their best chef to the opening of their new restaurant, Luca? I'm really sorry to say this.

If you're in search of excellent BBQ, this is the place to go! It's a favorite spot for our family. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a warm and cozy feel. The service is consistently friendly and accommodating. We find the portion sizes to be quite generous. The food is always delicious and fresh. I personally love the brisket, while my husband can't get enough of the ribs! I also enjoy the creamed spinach and mashed sweet potatoes. All the side dishes they offer are wonderful too! Every time we visit, they never fail to impress us. We've also done takeout, and once again, the portions are impressive! This truly is the best BBQ restaurant near us!

Fantastic Food! I've been visiting this restaurant since it opened, and ever since they switched to full wait service, my experience has improved tremendously. During my last visit in October 2022, I was lucky enough to try two specials: truffle soup and a burger topped with short ribs and truffle. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! I really think these specials should become permanent menu items; I'd gladly return just to enjoy them repeatedly. If you're a fan of BBQ, this is the place for you. And if you're sharp-witted, take some time to decipher the artwork—it added an interesting element to my last visit!

Came here with some friends for dinner. The place was pretty empty but it was a weekday so maybe that was why. We ordered a bunch of different things to try. The presentation was pretty but it was a little weird for everyone to reach around each other to try to grab the items we ordered or even figure out what portion was ours. The meats were okay. Not the best bbq I've ever had. They were a tad on the dry side. The redeeming factor was that all the sides were delicious. The next time i go back I'll probably just order a bunch of sides and be a happy camper! Service was great. Reserve uma mesa agora

I've visited both this location and the Huntington one, and I have to say, this spot truly stands out! The burnt ends with Korean BBQ sauce were the highlight of the meal, and all our sides were wonderfully tasty. I tried a drink called "Over The Moon," which was delicious and paired perfectly with the food. The atmosphere is fantastic, adding to the overall experience. We will definitely be returning!

We love this place! The shrimp tostados and smoked wings are the best appetizers, the ribs are unreal andnsk delicious. The service is always great, we come here a ton! The outdoor seating is beautiful and fun for families. We also love the bar and can order right from there.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating is a plus!

My wife and I are thrilled we found this place and we can't wait to become regulars. Awesome atmosphere. We sat at the bar and the staff was super attentive and made a few great app recommendations, including some baby back rib egg rolls (yeah, you heard me). Servings were large and filling.

I absolutely love visiting the Tavern! It’s a fantastic spot to catch up with friends. The food is outstanding, especially the BBQ. We really enjoy sitting at the bar with Deanna. Every time we go, it’s a wonderful experience. Reserve uma mesa agora

I really love this place, but I recently saw that it’s closed, even though the tables are still set. Does anyone know why they’re closed and if or when they might reopen? It used to be my favorite spot.
