Very nice and well maintained furnishings. The new Land Lord and Land Lady are great and as they have taken over the place had so many new faces, celebrities and funny creatures, Would recommend to a friend, big pub

I remember this pub from 1980 and 1983, when I was doing my 2nd Mate (FG) and 1st Mate (FG) tickets at Hull Nautical College, which used to be on George Street. Great beers and a neat old-fashioned local pub.

Really love stopping into this pub after a night at the theatre. Great atmosphere and staff. A little gem in the heart of the city.
