Old Providence Taste

Old Providence button is the restaurant operated by Fishing Co operative based in Santa Isabel, Providencia. It shares its building with the fish market so you can buy and eat! There is usually a fish of the day or shrimp, either grilled or fried or cooked with garlic or coconut. It is served with rice and a beautiful salad. Each main meal comes with a fish soup to start the taste. With two beers each, our two meals were comparable to $23. We also bought two Kingfish steaks to take away and they were US$3.00 per pound [2 big steaks for US$4.50] The staff is very friendly and the restaurant, toilets etc. are carefully clean.

built on a pear, very nicely decorated, we arrived for lunch around 15h, we got table, the food very well prepared and served, cold beer, good service. We returned another day, the night and without reservations, nor wanted to take our name, it was crowded, even who had reserve was waiting about 1h. we left, I think that the one who stayed didn't really like the service and the stolen booking.

Located on the fish and farm cooperative, the restaurant offers a magnificent view of the island of Santa Catalina, great food and excellent ambience. Enjoy freshly caught fish with a cold tropical juice or an icey cold beer. Ask the cook for a shot of the local bush rum.
