There is nothing better than the local Olive Garden on a rainy day. I have actually been to this location a few times for pickup, but my most recent visit was the first time I had dined in. The times that I have done pickup, it has been extremely fast and my order has always been accurate. Everything has always went well with that. We stopped for a fun afternoon holiday lunch at the local Olive Garden (South Jordan location). Our server, Parker, was great and he made sure everything we wanted was served fast and fresh. My wife ordered the Chicken Tortellini Alfredo and I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan lunch special. Of course it started with fresh, all you can eat breadsticks and bowls of hot, delicious gnocchi soup. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday a few weekends ago. It was a Friday night so I was a little nervous about a wait, but after checking online, it said there wasn't a wait. When we got there we only had to wait about 5-7 minutes. We were seated at a booth near the entrance. They were pretty busy. Our waitress did a good job though. I didn't know before, but you can have some items not included in the salad! My stomach has been a bit sensitive lately so I asked for the olives, banana pepper, and purple onions to be removed this time. Chicken Alfredo is bland. Added a bunch of salt and pepper and grated Romano cheese and that helped. Read sticks are always amazing. The gnocchi soup was seasoned well. Priced competitive. I'd order again.

I don't eat here often and today tried the shrimp scampi for something on the healthier side of things. It was great! Our service was fast and friendly! Overall, it was a great lunch out!
