Olivia's La Cala - Reservar uma mesa

We had a table for 2 inside. Starters and mains were excellent, We ordered dessert and waited over 20 mins until the waiter said kitchen was closed and they had run out. I asked for the bill, after another 20 mins I reminded the waiter again and he arrived with a bill for 4 meals and we were on a table for 2. I noticed 2 other tables close sending the bills back and wondered if I got their bill. The new bill showed 2 fixed price meals for 3 courses. I explained we could only have 2 courses because the kitchen ran out of desserts. The waiter said the till system only allowed him to charge the fixed price and offered as compensation a coffee. Unfortunately the experience started well but ended...

very pleasant experience now that steven saunders puts the food in the head. we were big fans of his last restaurants and what brought us to olivias to try again after a bad first experience a year or two years ago.

Fabulous Sunday afternoon. Live music was perfect. Food presentation choice and service absolutely spot on .
