The interior could use some upgrades. We had duct tape covering tears in the seats in our booth. The waitress was very friendly. They have good wait staff. I ordered the filet mignon. It was full of veins, I could not finish it. My wife had the new york steak. That was terrific. Both steaks were cooked perfectly to the way we orderd them. The sides were very delicious as well. While there is room for improvement, I would go there again and give it a try. The reason for the 3 star review. 1 the seats had duct tape. 2 my steak had too many veins to eat. I realize a steak full of veins is not necessarily the restaurant's fault, but when they seen I couldn't finish it, being offered a free desse...
Marie treated us like we were her only customers. She was quick to serve us but still gave us enough time to thoroughly look over the menu. Everything was delicious, except for the malt vinegar. The daily specials genuinely seem to change every day. All three of us enjoyed our meals immensely. You definitely should eat here and savor the food. This place serves an excellent steak, which can be hard to find elsewhere, but the open grill really delivers. I was truly impressed by both the food and the service, which were fantastic! Lovely restaurant! I visited because I had some Canadian cash I didn't want to exchange. The food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They were about to close, but I managed to wrap everything up. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for my next trip to Canada if I have some Canadian money to spend. Just to note, while I enjoyed the experience, I wouldn't go overboard with spending. The steaks were fantastic—great value for what you get! Highly recommend it! The staff were also very welcoming.
The name really throws you a curve ball. I didn't have the steak, but I'm not sure if it would have been any better. Tried something new, the Chicken Marsala, french onion soup and a ceaser. Glad I wasn't paying for the 40$ meal. Carrots and peas were definitely from a freezer bag, thawed out and popped in the microwave. Couldn't eat them. Chicken was overcooked and dry. This restaurant serves excellent Prime Rib has a good salad bar that is included with your meal. If you prefer soup of the day in place of the salad bar there is no extra charge. Rolls bread sticks are served at the table also. The atmosphere is nice it's not too loud the lighting is good. They serve a variety of items, a good selection for seniors and they accomodate large groups. We enjoy going here when we are looking for a quiet enjoyable meal that is fair in price good size portion.
Had a fabulous party in the private room for 27 guests. Jim was extremely helpful in planning a customized menu. Anne served us with her usual friendly and fun professionalism and the food was absolutely awesome. Guests enjoyed prime rib, shrimp, steak, chicken etc. and a delicious trip to the fresh salad bar. I highly recommend the open grill for any event. They made it so easy.
I celebrated my birthday yesterday at this lovely venue, and I'm thrilled to share that we had a fantastic evening. The location played a big role in making the occasion so special. The waitstaff were friendly and worked well together, the food was delicious, and my friends were absolutely delighted. We will definitely be back for more celebrations. Thank you!
I came here with few friends Sunday the 9th and all I can say is WOW!!! I never knew this place existed! I got a New York steak rare and not only was it spot on rare but it was seasoned perfectly, best steak I've had. Waitresses name was Linda, she was extremely nice. Friends all enjoyed food, they even have good pasta. Definitely recommend. Reserve uma mesa agora
Steak tasted good but was very fatty! Salad bar had nothing in it almost empty! The salad that was in the bar was brown. Service was good. Not the steak house it once was! Very sad! Once was the best steak in town. Not anymore! Needs a chief and management change and could be the best again!
