Osso Steakhouse - Reservar mesa

My family and I visited San Fran for fathers day and wanted a nice restaurant to eat at. We picked here because the reviews were good for the most part and the food looked good in pictures. Overall the service was alright, not outstanding, but I just wantto give a honest review of the food and environment. Lets just say we were very disappointed. The food was not good. As somebodyher thoroughly enjoys fine dining and good food, this place was not what we expected at all. I wish I would've taken pictures ofthe food. All of the food was easily a 6/10 max. This place had such good reviews? 3 of the 4 steaks were over cooked, one so bad we sent it back and the waiter argued about it. Flavor was fair, Texas Roadhouse makes a better steak however. Lobster bisque was provided as an apology to that member ofour party who sent his steak back, it smelled so bad we had to remove it from the table. Totally sour, perhaps since it was aSunday night. Only side that was worth eating was the Mac and Cheese. We went to Alexanders on Friday night and spent about$250 a person, I would do this 10X over vs the $125/person at Osso. I?m embarrassed I suggested the place to my party since thefood was so bad. Please save yourself the irritation and go Somewhere else...

Prefer Harris over Osso overall but still a great steakhouse Location facing the cathedral makes it extra fancy and GREAT bread! Got the porter house and it was not as large as other places portion-wise but juicy and cooked to perfect medium-rare

Everything I tried at Osso was amazing! It's everything a Steakhouse should be with superlative service! Kelly's service was impeccable. He and Paola made us feel right at home. Will definitely return whenever I've back in San Francisco! Reserve uma mesa agora

Amazing 94th Birthday Celebration for my Mom. Great Service, perfectly cooked steaks, and something for everyone...even Pescatarians. The Salmon was amazing!
