Osteria la Toscana

We chose Osteria La Toscana because we had eaten there before and it was near the theatre where we watched the Nutcracker Ballet. We made a reservation, let me repeat, we made a reservation for 1930. When we were there, our reserved table was not ready. But we waited 20 minutes until they sit down. The restaurant was not full at the time when we sat, so our waitress came quite fast to order our drinks and dinners. Several tables were sitting around us after we came in, their orders were taken and filled before our drinks order and appetizer was. My husband took us for dinner and we chose this restaurant based on reviews. We made a reservation and when we arrived, we sat right away. The waiting staff was attentive and the food was delicious. The staff spoke English, which was very helpful. Overall, this was a nice meal in a cozy location.

No matter what I ordered in this restaurant, it was always delicious and freshly cooked. It is really hard to find authentic foreign cuisine in this area of Germany, but the Osteria is a real jewel.

Grabbed a late dinner and was not disappointed. Had leftovers for the week! Delicious salad and lasagna bolognese. Pizza looked yummy as well. Hope to return next time we are in town.

This restaurant for dinner and it was delicious. For beginners, spinach with cheese, so good. I ordered a pizza Mista (salami, ham and mushrooms) and Primitivo red wine. Love it
