Pablo Restaurant is an attractive place to sit down inside the Arkaden shopping center. The sit-down area is in front of the entrance of the Pablo Picasso museum. Prices of the food and drinks are moderate; here you can rest the legs and look at the life inside Arkaden. But Picasso is let down by the staff. Service is surly and indifferent, the staff member acted unwelcoming and unhospitable. And to put the lid on it, when I paid the bill, he tried to short-change me for 10 Euros. Deliberate or not, it was at least unprofessional. Therefore a two points rating.
Very unfriendly! We asked for an extra chair the table front of us and the other customers where very nice. But SUDDENDLY THE WAITER (black curly hair said -YOU ARE NOT ALLOUD TO TAKE AND MOVE ANY CHAIR. I told him nicely that the other couple close to us, did exactly the same. They moved the chairs and THE WAITER didn't say anything to them. Very disappointed .... It was kind of discriminating … the waiter didn't dare to say anything to the Germans ... but he notice we speak English... Never visit this place again.
We went 3 colleagues to eat dinner at the Pablo restaurant. Each one of us ordered different dishes. I ate 'orange ' soup and 'green ' pasta. The soup was eatable. The pasta was too salty and had very bad taste. All 3 of us didn 't finish our dishes. In addition, I had some stomachache after visiting the place. Service was OK, though. Located in a some kind of shopping mall, not very interesting but practical.
I meet friends here on a regular basis for drinks. The outdoor part of the restaurant is under glass, just behind the Picasso Museum, inside of the Arkaden (an indoor mall right in the center of Münster9 and it is fun to have a drink and watch the people go by. The food is fine, but I go here to meet friends for a drink.
