This is a popular restaurant for my family that we visit for many occasions. It was the first time we'd all been together again properly since pre-covid and we normally enjoy all the food we've had in the past. The service was good although when I rang to confirm my email booking I requested a high chair for a member of the family and when we arrived we had to wait over half an hour for one. The staff were friendly though. Their garlic ciabatta bread with cheese is amazing so you must have this as a side! The staff are brilliant and most helpful, in a place with great atmosphere. Plenty of free car parking and in a wonderful country setting with outdoor seating Good beer ,but a little expensive Unable to comment on food Not had a meal but looks appetising

I regret giving this restaurant 3 stars, as it was once a beloved spot for my entire family. We would often gather in groups of 15 or more to enjoy a nice walk through Bolton before dining.

This is a pub that is worth a short drive for a meal. However, the dining area in the back lacks atmosphere compared to the rest of the establishment.

The food at this cozy pub is fantastic. I highly recommend trying the delicious cheese and onion pie. It's definitely worth a visit.
