I had a wonderful experience at Rootstock Wine and Beer Bar in Humboldt Park. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The selection of wine and beer was excellent, with unique options to suit every palate. I particularly enjoyed the duck egg fried in breadcrumbs, ricotta dumplings, and steelhead trout, all of which were beautifully presented and full of flavor. The homemade ketchup was a delightful surprise and the chocolate mousse was a perfect ending to the meal. Overall, Rootstock is a great spot for delicious rustic-style food and a relaxed vibe.
