Pagliai's Pizza Johnston

The delivery was punctual and she seemed happy to be at work (which is a nice change of some delivery drivers). Order was correct (and I ordered half a half). Pizza was hot. Also compared to many other places I had here, I tasted pretty good. I have a pancrust. Exactly the amount of dough. Topings could have been spread a bit more evenly and there was a bit of a different taste for pizza. Could be normal for this place because I haven't eaten here for many years. Overall satisfied and will order again here.

Hunting for the best pizza in Des Moines and this is in the top. I grew up to the Pagliai in Grinnell and it is still at the top. My favorite part about the dinning here is the window to see the pizza made. The kids just love it. When we were there, the staff was so nice to wave with the children while they watch. They loved it. Very recommended. Favourite pizza is sauerkraut, green olives, and their sausage made in the house. All right!

Pagliai has the best thin crust pizza and red sauce! Our favorite is her pesto pizza. The Feta cheese and Pesto is an amazing combination. The pizza was not shown on the menu, but our server assured us it was still in the system to order! We forgot that it had black olives for which we had not decided, but we will not forget the next time. Do not forget because homemade ranch it is also amazing!

First time at Pagliai's Pizza. Our Daughter in-law said she use to go there all the time when she was growing up. We had the house special pizza, Greek salad, Cesar salad both big enough to share. Pizza had a thin cracker crust with fresh ingredients. Very good food will probably go back sometime.

I drove from Arizona to eat here, by far the best pizza. The homemade sausage is amazing, cheese is perfect. Sauce's right. Can't go wrong with this pizza. Deep is my favorite, but thin is just as good.
