Pagoda Chinese Takeaway

I ordered a meal to be delivered at 1800 and was informed it would take about 45 to 06 minutes to arrive, (i only live about 1.5 miles) after 1.5 hours i wrung up and was informed it was on its way, after 2 hours i wrung again and was told there was a problem and it would be delivered within 30 minutes and they would give me spring rolls for free because of the delay. after another hour i phoned again to be told it was with the driver to which i then cancelled the order as 3 hours to wait for a meal to be delivered from a journey 5 minutes away and still not arrived is totally unaccusable. We ordered prawn egg foo yung, special fried rice, noodles, chips, and a carton of gravy for £19.30. Unfortunately, the meal was a huge disappointment. The gravy was sickly sweet, which ruined the entire dish. None of us could even finish our meals as it was too overpowering. When we tried to complain to the takeaway, they refused to listen and offered no compensation. They even suggested we order a different type of gravy that wasn't even on the menu. After insisting on speaking to a manager, we were told that he didn't speak English. To make matters worse, shortly after eating, I experienced stomach issues and my wife started vomiting. Avoid this restaurant at all costs since the new management took over. I ordered half a chicken, but only received a quarter. The food was overcooked, resulting in dry and tough chicken, and chips so overdone that they were essentially hollow shells. It was difficult to communicate with the staff. Save yourself the trouble and find a different place to eat.

Ordered a carton of noodles and chips, half way through and found 5 hairs! One after the other! Absolutely disgusting how on earth do you manage to get 5 full long hairs in such a small meal. Feel physically sick

. Bought sweet and sour chicken and special chowmain can defo recommend. Got free prawn crackers. Never let us down yet.
