Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar

paladar was just the place we needed in a cold night. the drinks were generous, eating was nicely spiced and the mood was huge. I started with the black bon soup I really enjoyed along with plantain and yucca chips. we shared the pork, the rinderropa-Vega, which was very tasty. a gentleman with us had a rum-based cocktail called stormy night, from which he confirmed. that is a fun place to eat and it won't break the bank.

very disappointed that we are celebrating a birthday on our reservation. absolutely nothing has been done to confirm this special decree. why do they ask for the reservation whether they celebrate a special event?

the food was good, but it had to be reheated. the service was quite slow, but of course most restaurants are underused in these days.

I thought it was okay to eat. the pommes were really bad. guacamole was excellent. service is just okay.
