Palma De Cera - Reservar uma mesa

My boricua friend and I went to this restaurant, I order shrimp cocktail and he order a nice Puerto Rican plate, I got really dissatisfied wit my plate because I’ve never in my life had this type of shrimp cocktail that consist on a bowl with a bed of lettuce the shrimp covered on a sauce of ketchup and Mayo with a few crackers that aren’t fresh, it was very disappointing because I’ve never had a cocktail like this and expensive for non fresh food, even my friend told me that’s not an actual shrimp cocktail and he is a chef; the only thing that redeem this experience it was his plate, it was so close to his PR food taste, the meat it’s was cooked perfectly the rice taste smoked bacon soooo g...

While waiting on my vehicle to be inspected, I was looking for a quick bite to eat. I spotted Palma De Cera across the parking lot and decided to give it a try after checking the reviews. I am so happy that I did! This restaurant is definitely a treasure hiding in plain sight. Jerry was so friendly. I ordered the chicken fajita tacos and they were delicious! I couldn't get enough of the green salsa. It was the perfect consistency to hold on to the chip. Tiene mucho sabor!

The food is truly awesome.I have eaten there several times.Carni Asada, shrimp tacos are my two favorites. The service is fast and always friendly. They also have a few options, like Fettuccine Alfredo. I highly recommend Palma De Cera.Food: 5/5

Long time local favorite. Empanados with chimichurri sauce were amazing. Large selection of meat under different sauces. Potatoes to die for. Pineapple juice was delicious. Very friendly staff. Family run business.Food: 5/5

Nice tasty food, good service, and a solid go-to for big groups as well. There is plenty of parking up front. I'd visit again.Food: 4/5
