Panorama Restaurant Elfer

this little restaurant at the top of Elfes has some amazing views of the valley. The staff were very accomodating when we turned up for training and they were not quite open yet, providing coffee while we got ready and a then a very traditional austrian lunch.We visited again before our week was done to take part in the tabogganing, the most exhilirating yet petrifying experience of my life - the gluhwein was certainly needed before our second run down and the gurmgnodel deserved after all the screaming. Well worth a visit even if you don't fancy racing the locals down the 5km toboggan run.

This eating and drinking venue is really good to kick back and relax in while taking in the mountain and valley views. Also a great spot to watch the paragliders from. Word of caution though hot food is stopped by 3:00 pm so the only food option after this time is cake or strudel which is too distressing.Staff are friendly, toilets clean. All you ever need.

Stopped here a couple of times after getting off the Elfer Lift. Great place for a coffee before setting off on the lovely walks around the mountain. Excellent and very friendly service with great views over the valley down to Neustift.

Went up in the chair lift twice. Staying in Neustift with a coach party. Even though I don't like heights we went up again. Love the beef broth with pancakes. What a lovely restaurant. Very busy. Would highly recommend a visit.

We both ate and enjoyed a coffe at this place. It provided us the all over Austrian hospital attitude that we so truly appreciate.
