Located in the lower level of the Best Western at Montreal’s Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau Airport, this restaurant and bar is very convenient if you are staying at this hotel or the Fairfield Inn across the road and has a surprisingly nice atmosphere. With a wet snow and temperatures falling, I did not want to venture too far from my warm hotel room so I decided to walk across from the Fairfield Inn and give Gattuso’s a try. I was seated promptly and provided a menu offering a good number of selections at reasonable prices. While staying at the MTL Express hotel for the night, we decided to dine at their on-site restaurant rather than venturing out. Situated in the basement, the restaurant has an Italian theme and offers a fantastic menu with a variety of pasta dishes and other options. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken and sausage pasta, and the portions were generous. It's not often that you find such a great restaurant in an economy hotel, so we were pleasantly surprised to have a delicious dinner without leaving the hotel. Additionally, they offer a complimentary breakfast and open at 5:00 am, making it convenient for those needing to catch an early flight.

The food at this restaurant is amazing, especially the Osso Bucco which is delicious and comes in a large portion. The adjacent bar is also excellent, with a great bartender named Sandro.

Very good restaurant. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Excellent food. I ate dinner there both evenings I was in town, and both were excellent.
