I had been shanghaied into doing a shopping trip at the Factory Outlet next door, where I couldn't buy what I was looking for but she managed to buy several things that she wasn't looking for, so we decided to have a quick lunch at Pappa Rich. Service was of the fill-in the order-and-we-will-pick-it-up-when- we-are-ready type, but the menu looked good and we settled on choices from the lunch-time menu. She ordered Char Kway Teow, which arrived quickly, looked a little pallid, but was pronounced "quite good" by herself who uses this dish as her benchmark in assessing Malaysian cuisine. Not a Michellin restaurant, but who can afford to eat in those anyway. We are reasonably regular diners at Pappa Rich. We usually tie in a meal with a visit to Brandsmart. The Malaysian food is honest, well priced, ample and the service is quick and efficient. Considering how busy they get, the staff still make time to smile and chat. I will keep going there as long as the standard remains . Recommend Pappa Rich for a quick,enjoyable lunch or dinner. Vegetarians will appreciate the generous choices as well.

Delicious, Tasty, Yummmmm.... It is a place to be if you are hungry and love spicy food. It is authentic Malaysian. The ambience is good and the alfresco is heated so feels good outside as well in cold Melbourne weather (that's when you like to eat spicy Malaysian).. Surely recommend to eat here multiple times.

The service was terrible and the food tasted horrible.Firstly they brought out my friends food 20 minutes before mine and when mine arrived, nasi goring, it was inedible. The chicken was dry and the rice was so bad it could not be eaten. Go somewhere else.

Reasonably priced food that makes you very thirsty afterwards but the same goes for every other Papa Rich chain. Food is fairly cheap for what you get so apart from the MSG, can't complain too much
