Neither be fooled by the 4.5 star reviews. This is a tourist trap to be avoided at all costs! The food while well presented is a mirage as it is utterly tasteless and bland. We ordered focaccia for starter and we received stale and old bread that had no resemblance to focaccia. In essence, it was cheese on toast done badly. For main, I had spaghetti vongole which was utterly tasteless and bland. The menu would have been more accurate had they advertised 'Dishwater pasta '. My husband ordered risotto with scallops which was swimming in cream and again utterly tasteless and disappointing. I’m so confused how this placed has received 4.5 stars. It is possibly the worst Italian I’ve ever been to...

Sorry Italy, you do not meed this restaurant for classifying as italian. Nice waiters, but letting us wait nearly an hour before the starters to arrive. Serving a pasta vongole totally with taste...just glad my stomach tolerated the clams. Of course my disapointment was noticed...but who cares....

It’s fantastic …. Great food … great location and amazing service Marianna looked after us so well with a massive smile and could not do enough to make our visit enjoyable) . We have been before and came back for the Rigatoni La Voglia Di …… Delicious! Well worth a visit!

we stopped here as it was always very busy so must be good, we got a table very busy but staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very nice and we had a very nice evening but it was very hot sat in here. would recommend it

We went last year and loved it. so first thing after we got to Calvi was to go back and what a disappointment!!! we ordered the same food and it just was bland, it lacked taste and didnt feel fresh.
