During our 2-night break, we requested a ground floor room and were upgraded to the York Suite. The decor was lovely and the view from the window was stunning. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were fantastic with a lot of variety (the best roasted bread ever!). Our dinner experience was also great with plenty of choices. Our dessert, lemon balm with ice cream, was extremely delicious and also very reasonably priced. We highly recommend this restaurant. The only issue was that I would have preferred a shower cabin due to my mobility issues instead of showering over the bath. However, this did not detract from our overall experience. The fixtures, fittings, and linen in our room were in need of some TLC, but our stay was otherwise spot on. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is perfectly positioned on Redcar front. We ended up skipping breakfast due to being too short on time, but a couple we spoke to who had had the breakfast said it was excellent.

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. My room was spacious with a beautiful view of the sea and was very bright. The room appeared to have been recently renovated, although the bathroom was a bit worn. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as they always are. I have stayed here many times and have always enjoyed my time.

Saturday evening with friends. our room was wonderful, we couldn't fail anything, so light and spacious, immaculate clean and a beautiful sea view. the breakfast was first class and the personal friendly, cheerful and efficient. excellent value for money. and efficient.

This small hotel is amazing. The staff is fantastic, the price is reasonable, and the double room is spacious. The bathroom could use a little cleaning, but it's quite large. Located right by the sea, the view is beautiful.
