Parkhotel Waldeck Golfhotel Titisee

We were booked in May 2023 for 2 nights in 2 double rooms. I was present for one night. The “wellness hotel” declared by HRS was quite old and did not have an open indoor swimming pool and the day before our arrival we found out at short notice that the restaurant was also closed. We deliberately chose the hotel because of its own restaurant... The telephone availability was catastrophic, the owner justified this by saying that guests would often call for weather information from Tititsee. The owner, Mr. Franz, also assured me over the phone that they would accommodate the costs of my two dogs due to the inconvenience of the restaurant being closed. A shadow of himself. Bar and restaurant closed. Facility old. We were really looking forward to our stay, but 190 CHF for 2 people and 1 night is overpriced. The breakfast is below average and after consulting the boss you are turned away. Was once a TOP hotel. We were there 4 times and always super happy with everything. Absolutely no longer recommended. It used to be wonderfully beautiful and warm. Now no longer available, despite a paid booking. Multiple contacts unsuccessful. Money is gone until further notice. Absolutely sad how such a once wonderful hotel could be run down.
