Nostalgic. But not good. This was a sad, bad journey back into time and space that forgot the world....and rightly so. Horrible decor usually dictates food quality, as there are many dives with great food! The tip should have been the almost empty parking lot. How bad can a diner be? We were in the area and wanted breakfast at 2 a.m., a fast Google search after the next diner and the reviews looked good. Unfortunately everything went from bad to bad fast! From almost sitting in the bathroom for a place that was basically empty, to the old plastic glass completely slotted, so that water poured everywhere, to the driest, blandest boiled omelet ever created. We were in the area for business and decided to stop in for an early dinner on Saturday. We ordered two stuffed haddock fish entrees, spinach pie, and coleslaw, but we found the meal to be less than satisfactory considering the $13.95 price. The haddock was dry and overcooked, with burnt edges from being baked on a metal dish. I suggested using lemon slices to enhance the flavor of the fish. The coleslaw and spinach pie were both lukewarm. We hope that the restaurant will improve the quality of their food in order to better serve their customers who work hard for their money. The new waitress was friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately we do not plan on returning anytime soon.

The worst restaurant. Food was bland NO FLAVOR even. We decided we didn't want to eat the food and pay for what we did. We decided to get up and go forward to speed up the process, as the waiter took a long time to bring the bill for the food we only ate to be accused by the same waiter of Dune and Dashing. And she was rude and rushed from the beginning. I have pepper steak over rice and it was disgusting. It was Blande and had as much sauce it looked like I was served soup. And my friend Teller looks like a lunch you get in a hospital. Not recommended!

We enjoy eating at diners and have dined at the Parkland Restaurant for breakfast multiple times, both before and after Covid. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. We will certainly be returning again!

Great place for breakfast. Hot, fresh and delicious. The woman and I also love the Avgolemano soup on Thursday.
