Pearl's Southern Comfort

The food at the restaurant was delicious, and our server was outstanding. However, the hostess was quite disappointing. She seated our party of four at a table near the door, which was cold. Before we sat down, we requested to be moved to one of the many empty tables further away, but she informed us that those tables were being held in case a large party needed to be accommodated by pushing tables together. Just five minutes later, she seated another group of four at one of those same tables. From our chilly spot, we noticed her spending most of the evening on her phone.

We were in Chicago to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving so were looking for someplace serving Turkey. Pearl's was recommended and we couldn't wait to dive in to some great soul food. The servings are generous and everybody loved every bite. Between the 4 of us we had turkey meatloaf, turkey, country fried steak, ribs, mac and cheese, collard greens, mashed potatoes and yams. Dessert was apple cobbler, peach cobbler and sweet potato pie. We left with smiles on our faces and great food in our tummys. Will be back next time we are in Chicago!

Three of us went out for lunch and we each ordered a bowl of gumbo, which was absolutely delicious! We decided to share some appetizers, choosing cornbread, catfish bites, and wings. Everything was fantastic. It’s a great spot to visit if you enjoy southern or Cajun cuisine, especially if you like sharing dishes. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Chicago. The service was also prompt and attentive.

Celebrated my daughters first Marathon. A friend suggested Pearl's and was not disappointed. You must ask for Chris The Best Bartender in the city! He is a rock star! Reserve uma mesa agora

I had brunch with friends visiting from out of town. The food was fantastic, and the waiter and staff were wonderful.
