Expensive, but delicious gem in downtown Lake Worth. The Pelican Restaurant is a dichotomy of sorts it 's got a diner atmosphere with delicious food, but at gourmet prices. Service is generally good, but can be spotty when they 're in the weeds. Be aware that it 's a cash only operation, but there is an ATM inside if you 're in a jam. At peak times (Sunday a.m. between 10 and 12 , there are lines out the door and you may have to sit at the counter or outside if you can 't wait. The owner or manager is very friendly and welcoming. I loved looking out the window at downtown and I'd like to try the Indian cuisine they offer sometime. The person's who came in after me received their coffees first. I had to ask and Didn't get it until my food came. Other than that, it was a very nice place and I'd come again. The place is small but packed and Is worth checking out.

Friday is Indian food night. Terrific home-style Indian food. Dishes for vegetarians as well as chicken, meat or shrimp eaters. Large portions served with rice and naan.<br/ <br/ The food tastes like home cooking.

It was my first time in this restaurant and i love every moment of it the workers are super friendly and the owner makes you feel right at home and there food was extremely good
