I have eaten here a few times in the past but gave up, too much hit and miss. Make the right choice with the bar meals and its good value. Restaurant meals are also a bit hit and miss. So generally these days only come in with friends for a few drinks so this can't go wrong can it? I suppose the answer to this question is whether you are a smoker. I stopped coming here in the warmer months because all the windows were opened so the smokers enclosure which I admit is quite popular, the stale smoke would drift back into the main bar areas so there was no escaping it. We booked which turned out to be a good idea because it was busy. Initially we were seated on the sea view facing verandah but it was just too hot so we relocated inside. We ordered a bottle of wine and i ordered the marinara. The pasta was cooked perfectly and there was a good collection of seafood with a tasty sauce. It was busy but there was no pressure to leave and to see the staff giving kids helium filled balloons was a nice touch. I can see why it is so popular.

Had dinner here. Much busier than I thought it would be so book ahead. It seemed there weren't enough staff for the people as it was a job getting drinks etc and some people just went to the bar themselves but no big deal. The Seafood pasta was out of this world and back in London you would play double for that. Very generous portions of all the seafood you care to mention and one of the best things I've eaten in ages.

We had a lovely meal on a Sunday night with our Son. Hubby Son thoroughly enjoyed eating a seafood platter each I had the chicken parma. The food is always delicious. We were also very lucky to have some live music on that night people were dancing rock roll which was lovely to see.

Friendly and accommodating staff. The best sea food platter I have had so far....unforgettable. a very pleasant walk around the bay.
