Peppercorn Restaurant and Fireside Lounge

Place is clean with nice furnishings. Menu is limited only one chicken dish and real expensive desserts mostly cheese cake made in house. Wait staff filled us in on menu specials burgers and steaks and told us how wonderful they were. This kind of turned me off immediately. I think she is owners wife way to aggressive. My wife ordered the chicken breast with a fruit salsa sauce. Again waitress told it was a fabulous dish. Cost $18.99. I ordered a pizza meat lovers small cost $12.00. Daughter had chicken quesidlla $13.00. We had coffee that tasted like a cheap restaurant blend probably sat in a thermal carafe too long. Wife chicken breast looked like grill scored frozen breast you buy at Walm...

Service was lacking and everything except for the stuffed jalapeños was very bland. Very dry burger, frozen fries. Taco salad consisting of bland beef in a taco shell with just iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes, green onions, cheese and plain salsa and sour cream on the side. Cajun chicken salad was the same boring lettuce, tomato, green onion and cheese mix with a Cajun chicken breast that only tasted of salt. Salad dressings tasted like they came from a bottle.The garlic bun was very good though. The desserts looked amazing but we didn't feel like having any after being so underwhelmed with our meals. I don't think we will be rushing back anytime soon.

The food has always been great at the peppercorn, and the owners are very friendly. Food comes at a reasonable time and never had a problem with them, unlike the Ranch and Kelly's. I've also ordered food to pick up - made to order within a reasonable amount of time. Burgers - The new burger menu has a lot of variety and have been delicious Pizza - They don't skimp out on the toppings, always been cooked to order.Soups - Their soups of the day have always been a hit.As a local, I would pick the Peppercorn over the other 2. The only thing I would say is that it's a little bit on the pricier side.

Have stopped at Peppercorn many times in the last few years and food is always good and servers are very pleasant. The owner - Doug - is often there working alongside staff and goes out of his way to make sure good and service were satisfactory. Best sweet potato fries on the planet!!! Love the aoli sauce that comes with them. Great pairing. The Philly beefsteak sandwich is another favorite and I always recommend it to my friends. Just had the in house made Wontons the other day and they were also excellent. Well worth checking out! You don't always need to drive to the city for good food. Reserve uma mesa agora

We have had almost everything on the menu at this restaurant since moving close by last year. From the burgers to the wings, to the pizza, everything is delicious and well portioned for the money. The owner is always appreciative of the business and the restaurant is always clean and the service is always good. The lounge has been refurbished and I am sure that at some point, they will develop the patio area.

This place has so much potential.Food is OK but hit and miss at best.Service is OK but owners "hover" too much.Carpet is disgusting. Needs to be changed. Washrooms need to be cleaned and finished. Please finish the woodwork!In spite of this, Oakbank people are faced with few choices. Too bad this restaurant does not it up. If it would, it would be very popular.

The restaurant and owners have potential.Food is hit and miss. Mostly miss.Service is generally not great.Beer in the lounge is cool at best. Certainly not cold.Pizza can be excellent.Too bad. Oakbank needs a good restaurant and our family would support it if it was consistent.

The cheese cakes here are amazing! So high and moist, they are the best Cheese cakes I have ever had and I am picky! I have eaten meals here as well and have always been happy with the food. But the Cheese cakes are unbelievable. Reserve uma mesa agora

Had lunch here recently. The portions are very generous . the service is always friendly and efficent. The owners always make an effort to check on your dining experience. Good burgers. Soup is always quite good.
