How have we missed this place before? We have either lived in the San Diego area or been coming for winter breaks since the early 70’s, but only recently discovered this terrific restaurant. Easily reached on Pacific Coast Highway near Old Town State Park, and with a huge parking area, there is just no reason not to try it. There is an immediate friendly café vibe when you enter and the place is absolutely spotless. The service is superb and the menus selections vast, featuring Italian, Mexican and American breakfasts. I flew into San Diego and briefly searched for breakfast places. Perry's came up, but it was among other good looking establishments. As I drove along the highway, I spotted Perry's and decided to drop in. I was blown away! First of all great diner atmosphere. And, I arrived mid morning on a Wednesday and was immediately sat and poured a cup of delicious coffee. I ordered a breakfast option with eggs, bacon (extra crispy) and hashbrowns. BIG portions and everything prepared perfectly. All of this for a very reasonable price. The menu had lots of good options. I can't imagine anyone coming here and not getting exactly what they want. I can't recommend a place more highly. GO HERE!!

Best comfort food for lunch or breakfast. Great prices. Very busy, so you have to wait for a table to free up. Loved their French Toast and generous size portions of everything. Great omelets. We say the sandwiches other guest ordered they looke really good. Very friendly and attentive staff. The epitome of an old style diner.

This is a dive and food ok. All waitresses are super and helpful except for Georgia. You must have all parties/ persons in your party present before they can sit you. Not a smart idea—people waiting for a long while.

Out of this world breakfast. I had a traditional Mexican dish it was amazing my sister had scrambled egg nominal with a side of huevos rancheros sauce. superb. And our waitress Carmen was over the top fantastic
