Phil's Bbq - Reservar uma mesa

So frigging good! In the past I had been to the location on Pacific Beach because it is pet friendly. But on a recent trip to Oceanside we decided it was worth the drive to San Marcos for dinner at Phil's BBQ. Based on past experiences we were prepared to wait an hour or so to be seated, however, the SM location was not at all super crowded. We were able to walk right in and order at the counter. The ribs are super delicious. The chicken is juicy. The baked beans are so good. Phil's BBQ is such a treat. I wish there were more of these throughout California.

This location is great! Food is consistent, service is good and friendly. There are always tables available but it gets busy too. Obviously the 'que is great. My wife and I like to split the full rib (baby backs) dinner and if we are feeling a little extra hungry, we go for the small order of onion rings. If you want BBQ just do Phil 's!

The food is great, the staff is attentive and extremely friendly. The prices were better than fair, and the atmosphere is welcoming, clean and pleasant. This is the place I would drive out of my way to treat with friends, family or even me again and again!

Now I know why Phil’s BBQ receive so many great reviews on Yelp. Went here for lunch after a long day hiking and it was well worth it. The meat was delicious and very juicy.

Savory BBQ. Dog-friendly patio. Excellent onion rings. The wait can often be quite long, but call-in orders can offset that a little bit for carry out.
