This is a bigger location than I'm used to over in East Bay, but I got my fix nonetheless. It was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon, surprisingly, both inside and outside on the patio. I always recommend the vegan pumpkin bread because it is so good! I also ordered an iced chai, sweet and creamy. Apparently they phased out soymilk so I ordered oatmilk instead, but it didn't taste the same (the drink was neither sweet or creamy). Unfortunate, but what can you do. I probably wouldn't go back to this location.
The coffee at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, but I would not recommend the food. My husband ordered a vegan breakfast sandwich, and I got a turkey sausage English muffin. Both sandwiches had bread that was too hard, almost as if it had been heated up too much. The bread was not stale, but it was difficult to eat because of how hard it was. The same issue was present with the turkey sausage.
Great coffee but watch out for the outside seating laptop areas. I grabbed a medium tesora with light sugar, walked outside and had a seat. I put my cup down on the desk area, and didn’t notice the raised seat. $7 coffee tipped right over and was a total loss. Thankfully the staff were kind enough to give me a replacement.
