Pho Golden Star - Reservar uma mesa

Today, on June 8, 2023 at 11am, I went in for lunch. I usually enjoy mixing my pho, and this time I ordered a small pho with veggie broth, no onions, and soft tendon with crab meat. Initially, the server refused to add crab meat for some reason, but eventually relented. I also requested extra lime, which I have never had an issue with in the past. However, this time they gave me only 2 extra lime wedges, and then tried to charge me $1.00 for them. This struck me as ridiculous, especially considering my long-standing patronage. A bowl is about $15 now and the meats is less than other places. However, the meats and veggies are fresh and go well with the pho. There’s no meaty smell to it. The soup has a cleaner flavor, and it’s different from other places as well. The service was extremely fast if you go lunch time on a week day, our food came out in less than 5 minutes. The only downside is that there’s no lunch menu.

I was very disappointed with my $21 pho meal at this restaurant. The meat was tough and had a strange taste. The broth was unappetizing, reminding me of dishwater (although I've never actually tasted dishwater). Perhaps it was just an off night for the restaurant, but I wouldn't risk coming back to find out. The only highlight were the jalapeños. Overall, I would rate the food 1 out of 5.

We ordered Pho and it arrived perfectly packed with fresh herbs and ingredients, all clearly packaged that day. The meal was excellent with a very generous portion. I can't wait to order from here again, what a gem!! A+ in my book. Food: 5/5.

I go here at least 3 times a week. The pho is always flavorful and the meat quality is great. Staff are very nice and friendly. Yummy viet iced coffee!!!!!
