Pho Han - Reservar mesa

We arrived after 1:30 PM on this Thursday afternoon and there was 1 person sitting in this 22 seat restaurant.The restaurant is tucked in a strip mall on the corner Capstan Way and Garden City Road. The only reason I knew it was there was because of the sandwich board sitting on Garden City Road.As soon as we walked in, my spouse and I looked at each other as there was this funky odour not aroma (whereas aroma has a connotation of something that smells good). My husband first went there on the recommendation of a colleague who is a Vietnamese herself. He liked it and so a few Sundays ago, after shopping at Richmond Costco he took us (his mom and me) there for lunch. It’s at Capstan Way and Garden City Road--a 5-min drive from Costco. My first impression when I walked in was, oh, it’s so small, even the tables are small. My mom-in-law and I are both tiny, so we are OK. However, my husband told me when he came last time with his male colleagues, they had to move the table a few inches from the window to give their elbows room to move about. We were waited on by a young girl who was patient, informative, evidenced empathy and really earned her good tip. The food itself took a little time to come, but evidently because it was prepared then and there; not even the soups gave the impression of being re-heated! If we drop into Richmond again we will go back the Pho Han.

In Richmond over night waiting to take a flight. I love Pho so I looked them up. Their soup was very good, mine had a little extra snap of spicy but that just added to the taste. The service was the way it always is at Vietnamese places, fast and quiet. It is small but that is more about smaller tables. Reserve uma mesa agora

This is a little gem in Richmond. Very small restaurant only 4 tables but chef makes fantastic pho with good quality beef. Their food used to be no MSG but I heard this is no longer the case, which is a little bit disappointing. I would go there more often if they have kept the "No MSG" way.

There are only a few tables here, but don't let that fool you. The food is excellent, with a blend of delicate and strong flavours. The portions are large and the prices low. Service was great and quick. Strongly recommend Pho Han if you are in the area.

We were first time diners. Excellent food, generous portions. Reasonable prices. They do a busy take out business and the dining area is small. Call ahead and if your party is more than 4 I recommend cary out.
