Pho Vaughan has been around for a long time. At least this one has, compared to the new one down the block that thus far doesn't imitate its menu. We've come to this location from time-to-time over the years ever since a friend first introduced this local spot. On this visit, I had their standard Special Beef Noodle Soup which comprised of mostly rare beef to be cooked in the boiling hot broth. The soup base is generally clean though a little on the fatty side. It is quite satisfying to slurp down with the soft rice noodles. Their fried fish seems popular as a side dish for the regulars but is quite dry for my taste. A fishy sweet and sour aroma hits the second you enter the restaurant doors...
