LOVE THIS CHARMING PLACE! I can’t adequately explain how wonderful a find this restaurant is. We found it through GrubHub during the pandemic and quickly realized it was better to order from the restaurant directly. When we did that, I made quick friends with the lovely owner and master chef Faye. Before we dined on premises, we fell in love with their food. Great Mediterranean/Persian food in a cozy atmosphere. Service was friendly, helpful with the explanation of the unknown, and prompt. We sat outside, the location is closer to the lake, so dress appropriate for the weather. Inside is clean, a bit dated, but who cares as long as the food and service are great. I'm sure I'm back! Apparently, they're understated or something. We really wanted to like the restaurant, and they were nice, but the service was haphazard wrong orders, not on the table in a reasonable time frame, ready for drinks and apps). The food was not good - fish was armoured and there was flour that could be enjoyed on top of it, and the other meals were not good at all. I had planned to try it with an extra-city guest and I was very disappointed. That said, I know that the pandemic in restaurants was difficult, so I hope this restaurant can solve its problems.

Pita bread served in a dirty napkin. Salad in salad was slightly brown. We wouldn't go back.
