Pittenweem Fish And Chip

Don't be put off by the basic at best surroundings. The haddock was delicious with, crucially, not too much batter, while the chips were spot on. The only way this could have been improved would be by using beef dripping rather than vegetable oil for the frying. Friendly and efficient service.

The restaurant greeted us with a warm welcome and cooked our fish and chips fresh to order. The haddock provided a pleasant deviation from the usual cod. It was an intriguing mix of a traditional chip shop, cozy sit-in cafe, and lively bar.

Our family of 8 had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The fresh fish and chips were delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was much calmer than Anstruther, which we appreciated. Definitely worth a visit!

Basic, no frills fish and chip shop. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We both had fish suppers so can’t comment on rest of the menu but we enjoyed them so much we had to return a couple of days later.

Excellent service, wonderful customer service, chips to die for, will definitely be back. Trip with friends and a chippy by the seaside is a must.
