Pizza Bello In San Ramon

I received an email from PB informing that they will close their San Ramon doors after this month. This was so sad and disappointed to hear, but understandable given the economic challenges that all small businesses face these days. The food here is superb, certainly the best pizza around. The sandwiches are also some of the best around. The ingredients are fresh and the hot sandwiches cooked just right. My favorite is the Italian sub. But what makes them stand out is the service. I believe it's a family run business and the customer experience makes you feel like you are a part of that family. I never leave the place or the phone without a smile. I will certainly make the trek to Pleasanton...

First time ordering out from here and no regrets! Pizza Bello donated 20% of all the proceeds to our local elementary over two days! Whoo hoo! We have some pretty picky pizza eaters, but I have to say that my kids wanted to order again the next night. We loved the pepperoni breadsticks, I also enjoyed the chicken tandoori, and my husband liked his gyro. Looking forward to a return trip.

Not sure how this got a 4.5 star rating, unless I just hit them on a bad day, The pizza could be great. The sauce, cheese and toppings are excellent. Unfortnately, the crust, especially toward the center of the pizza had the consistency of wet cardboard. It was undercooked mush. OK around the edges. Soggy and wet in the center. Fix that and you could have some of the best pizza around.

I do not understand how this place has so many positive Yelp reviews! Not good pizza by any means! Just ordered a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and black olive pizza from here over the weekend. We were very disappointed with the taste of the pizza. Two stars for it being piping hot and my husband liked the sausage. Next....

Pizza connoisseurs. Every ingredient is organic, even the soda in San Ramon has regular old sugar in it! Always a timely and friendly delivery, of one of the BEST PIZZAS you will ever sink your teeth into! A hidden GEM in San Ramon, and a not so hidden gem in Pleasanton
